RROD is caused by cracked solder joints under the GPU/CPU. We reflow the X-clamp assembly with proper leaded solder, replace the thermal paste with liquid metal, and re-pad the heatsink. Far more durable than Microsoft's original assembly. Most units run cool for years after.
